A co-working space on Main Street launched a subsidized membership program this week aimed at early-stage startup founders, offering reduced-rate desks funded through a partnership with a regional economic development group.
The program covers up to 60% of standard membership costs for qualifying startups in their first two years, along with access to mentorship sessions hosted at the space.
“Rent shouldn’t be the reason a good idea doesn’t get off the ground,” said space founder Priya Chandrasekaran. Applications for the program open this week, with the first cohort starting in July.
