Three new restaurants are set to open in the Old Warehouse District this summer, continuing a wave of investment in a part of the city that has added roughly a dozen new businesses over the past two years.
The openings include a wood-fired pizza spot, a Vietnamese sandwich shop, and a cocktail bar occupying a former auto parts warehouse, all owned by first-time restaurant operators.
“Five years ago nobody wanted to open here,” said district business association head Nora Kessler. “Now we’re getting more applications than available spaces.” All three restaurants are expected to open by August.
